PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) is a water soluble support material for multi-extrusion 3D printing. With a good thermal stability, Ultimaker PVA is ideal for printing complex models that require supports for large overhangs, deep internal cavities, and intricate geometries. Submerge. Put your 3D print in cold or warm water depending on the build material. 2. Rinse. After PVA supports are dissolved, rinse the 3D print to remove any excess PVA solution. 3. Dry. Let the 3D print dry and apply additional post processing to the build material if necessary. As a water soluble support material, Ultimaker PVA empowers engineers and designers to create highly detailed surfaces and complex moving mechanical parts in just one run. The rip fence is aluminium section allowing for two working positions (ripping and angled ripping). It is fixed to a cast iron mounting bracket for rigidity and has integral micro adjustment. A telescopic extension arm is fitted to the cross cut fence for setting the timber stop. The 620mm Cross Cut Table is designed for cutting mitres and compound angles, end trimming, squaring, dividing and trimming. It has a maximum depth of cut 105mm @ 90° and 76mm @ 45°, double sided saw guard with dust extraction outlet, enclosed drive mechanism. Supplied with an anti kick saw blade. Thermal overload, no-volt release switch, lock off emergency stop switch and foot operated foot switch are fitted as standard. Fitted with keyswitch.

The hand-wheel is made from an ergonomically designed one piece casting for comfort of use whilst also providing additional weight to the headstock. These models come with 12 speeds making them ideal for drilling metal as well as wood. The head itself is counterbalanced by a weight, giving fingertip control to the rise and fall and eliminating the breakages associated with spring type mechanisms. Its 1.1kw industrial fan cooled motor provides ample power for continuous duties and is fitted with a fully guarded adjustable chuck. Unlike a collet type system the chuck holds the auger firmly round its circumference, true to the centre line of the chisel, securing longer tool life and better cutting capability. The table has longitudinal and lateral movement on a single handwheel, not only for ease of operation, but also for more precise positioning: lateral adjustment of the table being better controlled by a central screw. The angled timber clamp is adjustable on a tee slot, to give a maximum timber width of 200mm. Coupled with the height adjustable chisel head which can give a maximum timber height of 255mm underneath the chisel, the Sedgwick 571 has exceptional capability. For repetition work there are longitudinal stops along the front of the table, a marking out rail complete with turnover stop along the rear; and 2 position depth stop for haunching. The switchgear has no volt release, thermal overload protection, and a mushroom headed stop button.

This bench is fitted with a beech top. Standard sizes 1800mm long, 760, 810 or 910mm wide and 810 or 860mm high. A maximum of 4 metalwork vices can be fitted (sold separately).

Modern bow handles, finished in silver, stylishly complement each drawer providing a sturdy grab point on each drawer when sliding them out and back in. Steel legs, powder coated in a deep charcoal black, neatly frame the drawers beautifully and look superb and also match the black finish on the inside of the drawers.
