The simplest and cheapest way to observe CO2 release! Ideal for individual student use. These respiration chambers can be part-filled with lime water or bicarbonate indicator solution, the organism or material to be tested placed in the top chamber and the carbon dioxide given off or expired can be observed by change in the solution. Observation is easy due to the transparency of the box. The apparatus consists of an external chamber with an internal sample holder which is perforated to allow the exchange of gases. This Hanna Soil test kit is ideal for testing and monitoring the quality of the soil. Tests include pH level, nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. This carbon dioxide detector measures CO2, air temperature and humidity. A useful tool to help to regulate ventilation in enclosed spaces such as classrooms, indicating when fresh air should be allowed in to help remove air that contains virus particles and to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
