Search Coil. Comprises 3300 turn coil mounted on wand, with flying leads terminating in mm plugs. An alternating magnetic field passing axially through the coil will induce an e.m.f., which can be observed on an oscilloscope or AC millivoltmeter. Designed and manufactured in the UK.
