Low Temperature Casting System

• Easy and safe to use in a general classroom environment requiring only a standard 13amp 230VAC socket. • Does not require a separate extraction system. • Cool to the touch as its unique cooling system keeps the entire casing cool. • Fully operational in approx. 15 minutes. • Thermostatically controlled without manual intervention at either 250°C or 150°C. • Designed to use lead-free metals including pewter (which melts at approx. 245°C) and also a lower melting point alloy (at approx. 137°C). • Internal melting pot has a clearly labelled swivel lid for observing the state of the molten metal and adding new material. • Moulds manufactured in vulcanised rubber, MDF, soap, woods, cuttle fish and many other materials are suitable. • Lesson plans are simple. • Risk assessment is clear.
