Conductivity Star. Thermal conductivity apparatus for use with tea light candle or small bunsen burner flame. The unit has an integral polished wooden handle and metal rods (aluminium, brass, mild steel, copper and nickel) mounted in brass centre block. Students can discover which metals conduct heat the most efficiently by placing small amount of wax at the end of each rod and seeing which melts first when heat is applied to the centre block.
